UPDATED 20160406 13:45:08

This highly practical course is an ideal starting point for those students with little or no formal qualifications. You will learn about horse welfare, how to ride a horse on the flat and over fences, stable management and working with horses from the ground. Through working in the College yard your understanding of horse care will be broadened and you will possess some exprerience of how the equine industry operates. Successful students can further enhance their skills by enrolling onto a Level 2 course or, should they wish to, progress straight into the equine industry.
