Vocationally focused, you will learn how to work safely, build and maintain structures, as well as gain first-hand experience of environmental work. Course Content includes: Safe and effective work practices in land-based industries; Develop performance in land-based industries; Introduction to wildlife and conservation; Assist with the repair and maintenance of structures in the countryside; Assist with the repair and maintenance of surfaces and ancillary structures in the countryside; Assist with the establishment of plants and sites in the countryside; Assist with the maintenance of plants and sites in the countryside; Functional skills. Successful students can further enhance their skills by enrolling onto the Level 2 Diploma in Countryside Management, 30 credit Extended Certificate, 60 Credit Diploma or progress straight into the countryside industry.
