Creative Digital Photography - Beginners

UPDATED 20160406 11:49:20

Is this the right course for me? Yes, if you have a camera and would like to find out how to use it best, or improve your composition and other techniques to achieve better results. We will explore the use of cameras from compacts to the D-SLR and learn about their pros and cons. What will I learn? The course will be tailored to the needs of the groups, but topics that will be covered include: cameras, composition, places, portraits, photography after dark and basic image manipulation. How will I learn? Through a series of short lectures, demonstrations and practical project work. You will build a personal portfolio of work including notes and examples. Will I gain a qualification? You will not gain a formal qualification but you may receive a Certificate of Attendance and Achievement from your tutor. What do I need to bring to the classes? Please bring your digital camera and a printed or digital copy of your instruction booklet to all the lessons. If you have lost the instruction booklet it is usually possible to download one from the manufacture's website. Can I talk to someone about my course before I start it? It is usually possible to put you directly in touch with the tutor if a member of the Community Learning MK staff cannot answer your query.
