Is this the right course for me? This course is suitable for complete beginners and/or those who have some experience of floristry or flower arranging. What will I learn? You will learn how to create a bridal bouquet, corsages and buttonholes. How will I learn? You will learn by creating your own designs, tutor demonstrations and step-by-step handouts. Will I gain a qualification? You will not gain a formal qualification but you may receive a Certificate of Attendance from your tutor. What can I do next? Consider enrolling on other Adult Learning floristry or flower arranging courses with or without a qualification attached. What do I need to bring to the classes? Secateurs, floristry scissors (or equivalent), notepad and pen and a range of foliage from your garden i.e. small ivy leaves, lavender, hebe, bear grass etc. The tutor will supply flowers and sundries at cost please bring £15 to cover this. Please also bring a packed lunch and a drink. Can I talk to someone about my course before I start it? It is usually possible to put you directly in touch with the tutor if a member of the Community Learning MK staff cannot answer your query.
