Is this the right course for me? This course is aimed at the home user or light business user who wishes to be able to edit photographs with the variety of tools that Photoshop Elements 12 has to offer. What will I learn? To develop your confidence by using the tools available in Photoshop Elements 12, understand its features and utilize the options for editing, organizing, and sharing your photo projects with others. This includes online albums, slideshows and photo emails. Will I gain a qualification? You will not gain a formal qualification but you may request a Certificate of Attendance from your tutor, to be given out at the end of the course. What can I do next? By the end of the course you should be more familiar with the different tools and functions within Photoshop Elements and be able to manipulate the images more creatively. You may wish to continue experimenting with your new skills at home or seek advice about a longer, more in-depth course. What do I need to bring to the classes? A memory stick with a selection of photographs or other imagery which you would like to manipulate and to save your work. The tutor will provide a selection of images. You may wish to bring a packed lunch. Hot and cold drinks can be purchased at the centre. Can I talk to someone about my course before I start it? It is usually possible to put you directly in touch with the tutor if a member of the Community Learning MK staff cannot answer your query.
