The length of the course is 2 hours The course aims to support mothers fathers and carers to work with their child to develop communications and literacy skills through practical based activites. The course is for families and children aged 3-11 years old with an interest in arts and crafts. You will learn to support the development of speaking and listening skills and understanding of the world. This craft based workshop encourages children to explore dinosaurs and the environment around them. Adults and children will take part in the themed practyical craft activities book sharing and a dinosaur hunt. You will not gain a qualification. You will learn through tutor led session and working with your child. This course could lead to Family Crafts on a budget NCFE Award in Creative Craft Support your Child with Literacy Skills. You will not have to do any studying at home. If you need any extra help on the course additional support will be available to all learners with a disclosed disability learning difficulty or language support. This should be discussed with the course tutor.
