Starting with their own experiences, learners will extend their knowledge of online services and investigate the technology and software that supports them. What will I study? Contents include: The online world Technology systems Computer networks Website development Installing computer hardware Multimedia product development Computing in the workplace Computer security Learners will have appropriate visits from local IT companies, meet successful IT professionals as well as trips to local venues to explore IT in the workplace.
