Understanding Abusive Relationships Develop an understanding of domestic violence and it’s effects on women and children as well as the wider social and cultural issues.  Recognise common excuses for domestic violence and early indicators of abusive behaviour in personal relationships.  Assess their own personal safety and how to make safety plans.
