The aim of this course is to help you improve your basic knowledge and skills in specific areas of Maths to work towards completing a GCSE Maths qualification in future.You will focus on a particular area of Maths to help build your confidence and fill a specific gap in your knowledge. In the summer term you will concentrate on the metric system of measurement. By the end of the term you will be confident to recognise and use both metric and imperial measurements, convert between metric units and solve problems involving time and timetables.You will be assessed by an exam at the end of the 20 hour course and receive a certificate if the unit is completed successfully.
