French for Beginners (LDD)

During this 10 week introductory course each learner will have the opportunity to develop an understanding of the French language and culture, improve confidence and social skills through participation in group discussions and activities based on the themes of My World, Holidays and Leisure, including:- Listen to and respond to words or phrases in spoken French language - Practice speaking words or phrases and communicate in French language - Recognise, read and respond to written French words or phrases- Practice writing words or phrases in French language - Listen to the opinions of others and recognise that other people may have different views- Practise speaking up for his/her self- Participate in discussions on topical events- Develop ICT, number, communication, reading and writing skills.
