Flower Arranging

Come along and join us in a fun and relaxed environment to learn about flowers, foliage and accessories and discover some of the secrets of professional florists. Find out how to create a variety of seasonal flower arrangements and hand tied designs in both contemporary and traditional themes. During the course we will look at the elements and principles of design as used in floristry and flower arranging, and we will also investigate colour in order to enhance the designs created and the environment they are to be placed in.

Entry requirements

Equipment: Scissors, bucket for flowers, plastic sheet or newspaper to work on, small knife, notebook & pen. A materials list for the first session will be sent out prior to the start date. Each week you will be given guidance on suitable materials to bring the following week. You may wish to bring a camera to record your work.
