Learners will be taught the basic bookbinding techniques of various styles of bookbinding to enable them to work on their own individual projects mainly focussing on repair and restoration, slipcase and box making.

It is recommended that learners attend the first class before investing in any new tools, etc. but they could bring any of the following if they already have them - a firm 30cm steel ruler, scalpel, scissors, pencil, A3 cutting mat and an apron.
