This short one day course will establish some important acrylic painting methods through the use of web images, photographs and sketches.You will develop the use of tone, colour and composition through working in the style of Van Gogh. Learners will gain confidence in using acrylic materials and reviewing their work through group discussion and one to one support.The overall aim is not necessarily to complete a painting, but to achieve personal expression and work in a range of techniques and methods used by the featured artist. This could act as an extension to other painting courses attended or as a one off workshop

An A4 or A3 or larger canvas or canvas board for finished artwork and A3 or A4 acrylic paper. A range of flat and round acrylic brushes, a palette, ruler, soft pencil, rubber, paper/towel roll.
