The course will follow a set programme of recreational and vocational activities to encourage, promote and develop your personal skills, confidence and physical abilities. These informal learning opportunities will be delivered in a relaxed and friendly environment by tutors empathetic to ALDD needs. This short course is all about you! Do you know what colours and styles suit you? How you can make yourself feel so much better by spending a bit more 'me-time' and how other people are likely to respond positively to your new image. You will think about what you eat and what makes a balanced diet, and consider the importance of exercise to your general health and wellbeing. This course is suitable for both men and ladies. Your tutor will regularly review your activities and offer you support and guidance. You will be encouraged to identify small, realistic and achievable goals to work towards throughout the course and will keep a learning log to monitor your progress and achievement within the group. Lessons will involve recap to consolidate learning. Learners are expected to attend regularly ie at least 80% of the course.
