What will I do on the course? Gloucestershire College's experienced tutors will show you how to paint the interior and exterior of a building. You will also learn the tricks of putting up wallpaper and also get the chance to explore the different paints available and the different results you can achieve with them. In addition you will be taught how to work in a safe environment and how to prepare surfaces for the paint finishes. 20% of your time will be spent in the classroom where you will develop your knowledge of the trade by learning the theory that underpins the projects you complete in the workshops. The tasks and projects you will complete at college build in complexity and difficulty as you progress enabling your skills and knowledge to be fully developed and tested to your own abilities You will study: - Basic application with brush and roller - Hand skills - Setting out - Health and safety regulations
