Students who have studied a language at A-level or degree level have one of the lowest unemployment rates in the country (98% of language graduates are in employment three and a half years after graduation). AS students will explore the following general topics: ? Youth culture and concerns (music, fashion, new technologies, drink and drugs), ? Lifestyle, health and fitness (sport and exercise, food and diet, heath issues), ? The world around us: travel, tourism, environmental issues, ? Education and employment (higher education, student issues, the world of work). A2 students will study: ? The same topics studied at AS but to a higher level, ? Customs, traditions, beliefs and religions, ? National and international events, ? Literature and the arts.
