- Interested in the ocean? - Love sharks, dolphins, starfish? - Thinking about a career working in the marine environment, in fisheries, marine conservation, studying marine species at home and foreign countries? Falmouth Marine School's Marine Biology & Ecology, is one of the oldest and best established college level (Level 3) courses in the UK. Recruiting across the whole of the UK including overseas, the course is a specialist course studying the environmental sciences such as biology, physics and chemistry, but focusing on marine systems and processes. As a BTEC, the course mixes both practical with the academic theory, and links in the additional skills needed to become a scientist or going straight into industry in the marine sector. The course can also offer additional qualifications that students can choose to take in boat handling, diving, Marine Mammal Medic, that for an extra cost can make students qualified in a range of skills to make them stand out from the crowd.
