Ideal if: you would like to work with children aged 4-14 years in a playwork setting. You ll need: to be 16 or over, with three GCSEs at grade D or above and a keen interest in working in this field. You ll learn: through a range of interesting topics including playwork principles, working within a play environment, child development, health and safety, safeguarding, and creativity and personal development. Expect: to be assessed throughout your course in a variety of ways. You may also study functional skills/GCSEs in English and Mathematics. You ll love: the opportunity to attend a work placement for two days per week. You ll go on to: employment within the sector in a supporting role, or progress to further study on the Level 3 Children s Play Learning and Development (Early Years Educator).
