UCAS Code: 395L Institution Code: CORN C78 This Higher National Certificate has been designed to meet the developing roles within the sector for those working with children, young people and their families. It is anticipated that applicants will be developing careers within the children's workforce and seeking an initial Higher Education experience without the time commitment of a full Foundation Degree . This qualification will facilitate the opportunity to explore a wide range of career directions, which may include those in Nursery or Primary education, care, special needs, family support, outdoor learning, Youth Work or play, among others. It may be of particular interest to practitioners already in employment who would like to study in college on one day a week and undertake their research and self study in their work or home environments. The successful completion of this course qualifies you to level 4. You may then if you wish continue to direct entry on the Level 5 Foundation Degree Children and Young People's Workforce.
