HNC Children and Young People's Workforce

This HNC has been designed to meet the developing roles within the sector for those working with children, young people and their families. UCAS Code: 395L Institution Code: CORN C78 All applicants will need to have appropriate work practice experience with children, young people and their families (paid or voluntary.) A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be a mandatory requirement after you have been accepted on the programme. It is your responsibility to undertake this before commencing your study. We welcome applications from mature students. Previous learning and experience may be credited. If in doubt, call 0845 22 32 567 or email enquiries@cornwall.ac.uk. You will be required to be in practice whether paid or voluntary for at least one day a week throughout the duration of your course. Your setting will need to provide you with a letter of support whilst you undertake your HNC. Additional costs will be incurred for necessary Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks and if any equipment, resources or trips need to be paid for.
