Whilst studying towards this qualification the following units will be covered: * Carry out safe working practices in construction * Knowledge of information and quantities * Contribute to maintaining work relationships * Building methods and construction technology * Prepare surfaces for decoration * Apply paint systems by brush or roller * Apply foundation and plain papers * Produce specialist decorative finishes In addition, Functional Skills. Students are expected to provide their own pen, pencil, scale ruler, calculator, eraser, steel toe-capped boots and overalls (if required). A definitive list will be given upon enrolment on the course.
