Dressmaking/Sewing for the Beginner(Funded by Staffs County Council)

The course is for the complete beginners or for those who would like to extend their skills. You will learn the skills required to create a garment - from a pattern that will be designed by yourself you will learn how to pattern cut and identify thesewing notions required; through the process of laying out the fabric and pattern pieces; cutting out and preparation; getting to know the sewing machine; mastering the sewing techniques needed to complete the finished article.
