The aim of an Advanced Apprenticeship in Animal Care is to give learners an opportunity to develop and enhance their knowledge and practical skills and to enable them to adapt to the changes required within organisations and the animal care sector. Students gain self-esteem and the confidence required for supervisory roles within the organisation. You will need: NVQ/Diploma Level 2 in Animal Care or equivalent qualification or demonstrate substantial relevant occupational experience; Minimum 3 GCSEs grade (A* £ C), A levels or Functional Skills at Level 1; At least 16 years old on entry; You must be employed within the Animal Care industry and be responsible for specific tasks or projects at work. What next? Foundation Degrees in Animal Management, Zoology; Professional short course programmes; Employment.
