Sociology

UPDATED 20160324 08:38:11

Sociology is a great subject for understanding how we are influenced by our family and the education system. We consider the effects of the mass media and the criminal justice system and whether these four institutions treat people fairly in terms of class, gender and ethnicity. Students are keen to consider their own experiences after learning about the influence of these organisations and become confident critical thinkers, able to sway any debate in their favour!
