Psychology offers students an opportunity to make sense of human behaviour. This course provides a general introduction to psychology theory, research and application, an awareness of the diversity and limitations of psychological knowledge and an understanding of the methods of psychology research. The course will provide students with valuable analytical skills, which will enable them to critically examine the evidence for and against an argument. Leading to: Apart from being a highly relevant course for those wishing to study Psychology and other related courses at degree level, this course is ideally suited to those students whose careers might involve dealing with people in either work or social situations such as management, selling, advertising, journalism, personnel, teaching, nursing, youth and social services.
