Media Studies is the perfect blend of creative and theoretical thinking, offering students the chance to achieve results through both practical film making and more traditional exam based assessment. In Year 12 students have the opportunity to create the opening to a thriller movie, while in Year 13 they create a documentary film on a subject of their choice, learning all of the skills needed from storyboarding to editing their final product. Students record their progress through self-maintained blog, giving each of them full ownership over their final assessment pieces.
