Business

UPDATED 20161124 15:46:41

Business is front-page news. The way companies operate is under greater scrutiny than ever before, while TV programmes like The Apprentice and Dragons' Den have raised the profile of business to a new generation. The new Business Studies A Level enables students to engage with, explore and understand business behaviour and develop a critical understanding of what business is and does. Business studies at A Level assess quantitative skills, which make up a minimum of 10% of the overall marks. The skills tested include ratios, averages, fractions, percentages and calculation of profit and loss. Leading to: Business, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Operations, Branding, Events, Accountancy, Actuary and Banking.
