Over the two year course, students are given the chance to work to a brief and develop an area of interest. By the end of the course students will develop a wide range of skills. - The ability to communicate intentions visually. - Develop knowledge of digital editing skills including Photoshop - Knowledge of how to use a DSLR camera using only the manual settings. - Knowledge of wet photography techniques including SLR Cameras and film, camera-less techniques including Photograms and Pinhole photography. Leading to: Most obviously, you may choose to become a professional photographer (Weddings, Portrait, Press, Wildlife, landscape, Sport or Medical to name just a few) or even go on to study a foundation course or Degree in photography. However an A Level in photography would be an excellent qualification if you were thinking of a career in a number of other industries too. - Journalist, Web designer, Graphic Designer, Teacher, working in advertising, or any media related industry.
