If you are looking for a career working with children, then this qualifcation is designed to build the knowledge and skills needed when working with children and young people from birth to 19 years. It covers a diverse range of job roles and occupational areas. This is a full-time level 3 course. You will study a range of units looking at professional skills required to work with children up to the age of 19 in the workplace. Units will cover: - Communication skills, - Child development, - Professional practice, - Children's welfare, - Curriculum practice, - Safeguarding, - Working with parents. All students complete placements in Early Years' settings on an alternate week basis.

This will include assignments and written tasks.You will be assessed in the workplace by an assessor on three seperate occasions throughout the year. All subjects are compulsory. All students complete compulsory placement on an alternate week basis in an Early Years setting.
