If you wish to progress your knowledge of the beauty industry and be employed as an apprentice, then this course is for you. You will attend college on a Monday and be employed in the beauty industry within a salon for 30 hours or more per week. The level 3 advanced apprenticeship has been designed to allow progression from a level 2 course or apprenticeship. You will learn advanced techniques for face and body treatments and it will require you to be self-motivated and dedicated to learning as there is a lot of study involving anatomy and physiology, electrical science, professional product knowledge, salon management in the industry and an overview of general laws, legislation and regulations linked to the specific subject areas along with learning the latest therapies and treatments.

Please note you must be committed and revise to ensure you successfully complete the GOLA exams. Compulsory subjects include: - Unit G22: Monitor procedures to safely control work operations; - Unit H32: Contribute to the planning and implementation of promotional activities; - Unit B13: Provide body electrical treatments; - Unit B14: Provide facial electrical treatments; - Unit B20: Provide body massage treatments; - Unit B29: Provide electrical epilation treatments; - Unit B28: Provide stone therapy treatments; - Level 2 Maths Funcional Skills; - Level 2 English Functional Skills. Please note: ALL UNITS and QUALIFICATIONS that are part of the Advanced Apprenticeship MUST BE COMPLETED to achieve the apprenticeship.
