You may wish to train to a standard of practical proficiency in welding. The course is suitable for a wide range of candidates, for example the self employed, adults wishing to pursue specific units and young people who are new to the industry. This course runs at our Quarles campus. The course consists of: - Manual Metal Arc Welding; - Metal Arc Gas-Shielded Welding (MIG); - Fabrication Processes (Sheet Metal).

Name: WELDING & FABRICATION PRACTICES (QCF) ABC LEVEL 2 CERTIFICATE Qualification title: Certificate in Fabrication and Welding Practice (QCF) Qualification type: Assessment The scheme is modular, each unit standing alone emphasising practical skills with the complementary written paper testing relevant knowledge. A full certificate is awarded to candidates who successfully complete all units. Certificates are countersigned by the Welding Institute who partner the scheme.
