OCR Level 3 Cambridge Technical Introductory Diploma in ICT. During the first term students study a Database unit and an E-commerce unit. Students develop their database skills by learning the key techniques on how to build a database. They learn the key concepts on database implementation and have to design a database as well as build one. They develop their knowledge of online businesses and the benefits and drawbacks of going online. Students have to create a business plan where they have chosen a company which they want to take online.
