Information Communication Technology (ICT) is encountered in many aspects of life; this course will help you to develop some of the skills needed to take the opportunities that this subject has to offer. The aims of this short course are to introduce you to basic elements of ICT from developing mouse and keyboard skills to producing word-processed documents, surfing the net safely and sending emails. By the end of this course the participants will be able to: Use a mouse and keyboard with confidence. How to customise your computer to suit your needs. Change your screen background. Access an Internet site & search for specific information. Send an email with attachments. Create, rename, move, organise, delete a folder. How to write a letter in a word processor. Create, save and print word processed documents
