The course is aimed at students who enjoy a challenge. They will build on work met at GCSE but also experience new concepts that have been produced by some of the greatest minds of the millennium. AS Level Mathematics is divided into Pure and Statistics. A2 Mathematics is divided into Pure and Further Statistics. Pure Maths develops knowledge of such topics as algebra and trigonometry. Statistics involves the analysis and summary of numerical data in order to make appropriate conclusions.
