Progression Curriculum - Award in Skills for Hospitality and Catering - Level 1

You'll learn about the various roles available within the catering and hospitality trade and decide which one best fits you. From general cooking skills to front of house skills this programme will let you explore the various career opportunities this exciting industry has to offer. You can look forward to the chance to participate in industrial trips and visits and take part in inter-college competitions. This Study Programme has been designed in such a way that if you are not sure which vocational area you would like to study in, you will have the chance to move and sample a different area at various points in the year. You will work towards external accreditation in Employability skills and a vocational qualification. This Study Programme will include English and Maths at an appropriate level, and it will support the development of skills towards employability and suitability to progress onto the next level of study.
