This Programme is for practitioners who participate in the internal quality assurance process within a centre/organisation. You will learn on the job in a work environment or in workshops, studying units including: Functions of internal quality assurance in learning and development, The roles of practitioners involved in the internal and external quality assurance process, Understanding how to plan the internal quality assurance of assessment, Evaluating requirements for equality and diversity, Understanding techniques and criteria for monitoring the quality of assessment internally and Explaining the appropriate criteria to use for judging the quality of the assessment process. You will also study how to internally maintain and improve the quality of assessment, standardisation requirements, the types of feedback, support and advice assessors need to maintain and improve the quality of assessment, and understanding how to manage information relevant to the internal quality assurance of assessment. This Programme will be offered at times throughout the academic year which runs from September 2013 - July 2014.
