You will gain the Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Vocational Competence Qualification (VCQ) at Level 2 by completing a work based competence portfolio. There are a number of mandatory units including health and safety in the workplace, housekeeping and working in the Motor Industry. Other units include engine, chassis, transmissions and body electrics. There is an expectation that You will undertake personal study in order to demonstrate knowledge of the subject area, and compile a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate their competence.
