This course is designed for those working or volunteering in a school. This can be delievered soley in the workplace, and learners can start at anytime throughout the year.Alternatively students can opt to attend a one half day a week day release programme at College, this runs from September to June. Modules covered include: Communication and professional relationships Schools as organisations Support learning activities Promote positive behaviour Develop professional relationships Promote quality, diversity and inclusion Support assessment for learning Understand child and young person development Engage in personal development Understand how to safeguard the well-being of children and young people Support health and safety You will also have the option to study English and maths alongside this qualification.
