You'll learn how to build fixtures and fittings from a variety of woods. You will learn how to make doors, windows and staircases. You will also learn about measurements and the need to make plans before commencing on projects. You will also benefit from undertaking units related to Wood Machining. The Wood Machining elements within the Level 2 Bench Joinery course allows you to choose a specialism and gain skills in either Bench Joinery or Wood Machining. You can look forward to the chance to learn a whole range of skills needed to work within the bench joinery and wood trades industry. This Study Programme will include English and Maths at an appropriate level, and it will support the development of skills towards employability and suitability to progress onto the next level of study.
