This Programme will be offered at times throughout the academic year which runs from September 2014 to July 2015. To register your interest please contact Support Services: Broadstairs - 01843605062 (or email supportservices.broadstairs@eastkent.ac.uk) Folkestone - 01303 858300 (or email supportservices.folkestone@eastkent.ac.uk) Candidates gain the Diploma in Food and Beverage Service Apprenticeship Level 2 framework qualification by completing and achieving: NVQ 2 Diploma: Work place based evidence portfolio. Technical Certificate: College-based course covering Food and Beverage service knowledge: exam and practical assessments Literacy and Numeracy: Fulfilled by completion of Maths and English at an appropriate level. ERR: Employment Rights and Responsibilities. PLTS: Personal Learning and Thinking Skills. All qualification elements must be achieved to complete the Apprenticeship Framework. There are a number of mandatory units including health and safety in the workplace to be completed. Apprentices will be required to study a number of optional units linked to specific industry requirements.
