The Certificate for the Children and Young Peoples Workforce Level 2 is an introduction to the information and knowledge needed to work in a childcare environment and covers the age range from birth-19 years. It will cover a diverse range of job roles and occupational areas working in children's workforce settings including early years. This award is appropriate for those who are working, volunteering or on practical placement within a childcare setting. Applicants must be working in a face-face role with children and hold a current DBS Certificate (formerly CRB). The course is offered through an e-portfolio therefore a PC with internet access is required. Work is submitted and marked electronically. This is a roll-on roll-off course with various start dates throughout the year.
