UPDATED 20160321 16:00:45

In A Level Geography you will be studying both Human and Physical Geography. Topics include water and carbon cycles, hot desert environments and their margins, coastal systems and landscapes, hazards, global systems and global governance, changing places, population and the environment, and resource security. Geography students will also gain a range of skills which are incorporated into all of the above Human and Physical topics. Skills gained include Investigative Skills, Cartographic Skills and Statistical Skills. Geography goes well with Mathematics and any other Science subject or Art subject. This means Geography can either be your specialist topic, or play a supporting role for other subjects. As Geography is about the interaction between people and our planet, this fascinating subject is valid for a number of different career paths like advertising, teaching, town and country planning, environmental management, law or social services.
