A Level 1 qualification allows candidates to learn, develop and practise the skills required for employment and/or career progression in Painting and Decorating. This qualification is aimed at people wishing to learn some skills in painting and decorating, to progress on to becoming skilled in their chosen trade, or to progress through an apprenticeship and work towards becoming a master craftsman. No previous knowledge or experience is required. You'll learn in the classroom and in the workshop, using suitable tools and materials. Each unit is assessed via practical assignments, and there is an optional e-assessment available
