WHAT WILL I STUDY AT A LEVEL? At A Level, rigour is increased to develop the key economic principles first examined at AS Level. This increased understanding is then placed into a synoptic or real world scenario so that the learners can see the day to day relevance of Economics. The A Level qualification has three 2-hour examinations in Macroeconomics, Microeconomics and Economic Themes.
