The Level 2 Diploma in Carpentry & Joinery is designed to develop the skills and knowledge of people, enabling them to work in the industry in their chosen craft. It has been specifically developed for delivery in a training environment using simulated conditions, and the test/s are based on the learner showing what they can do as an individual through the completion of all the requirement of the qualification.Students on the programme have recently taken part in a range of activities which have included working in conjunction with the 'Habitat for Humanity' project; a project founded to enable local people with housing needs to build and own their own homes. Students have travelled to Liverpool to work on real-life building projects and gain real world skills to help in their future employment.
