Construction - Preparation for Employment Ascentis L1 Diploma

This course will provide you with a basic introduction to the occupational areas within the construction industry including Bricklaying, Plastering & Carpentry & Joinery. The course will provide an insight into the industry, organisations and job roles. You will be required to complete a range of practical projects and develop your skills & knowledge through studying a range of units including Health & Safety and Carrying Out Operations and you will have the opportunity to practise the skills you learn. Approximately 60% of the course is based in workshops and 40% is theory. The course is designed to provide learners with the skills to progress onto a Level 1 Diploma in Bricklaying, Plastering or Carpentry & Joinery.
