Throughout your studies you will explore how children develop from birth to seven year olds, investigate children's health and wellbeing, develop your knowledge of play and learning and research how different countries and cultures have different prospectives to childcare. An essential part of your study is a professional practice portfolio where you will undertake a placement in an early years provider in the local area. You will complete this placement one day a week and complete many tasks and detailed reseach of young children and staff.
