This course is designed to lead on from a double award science course (Core science or additional science) or GCSE Physics. The qualification gives you a seamless transition from GCSE to university courses in physics and physics-related disciplines. It maintains your enthusiasm for physics and allows you to explore through practical investigations. You will have the opportunity to develop your theoretical and practical skills and knowledge whilst facing problems that must be solved. It is essential you have your good mathematical skills and often a good idea to complement your physics studies with either AS or L3 Core Maths.
