You will study food preparation and cooking including fruit and vegetables, soups, sauces, meat, offal, poulty and fish and hot and cold desserts. You will also study employment skills, food safety, health and safety, menus and cost management. You will develop your skills in the commercial kitchens at the Manor House Restaurant and have the opportunity to participate in regional and national competitions and work experience at prestigious outdoor events.
