Spanish is a very interesting and rewarding subject. You will study the Spanish language and the cultures of Spain and Spanish-speaking countries. Topics studied include youth culture and concerns, lifestyle, health and fitness, travel and tourism, environmental issues, education and employment. Regular conversations with the Spanish Language Assistant will help you develop your competency in speaking and listening in Spanish. Lessons are conducted mainly in Spanish, the emphasis being placed on the practical use of the language, as well as on accuracy of pronunciation, spelling and grammar. The course will develop and improve your ability to read, write, speak and listen in Spanish.
